Try your observation skills on this video clip.
Well did you see all of them??

I’ve always said that you cannot go wrong by overestimating the stupidity of the other road user and here’s the proof.
These first clips were all taken on the same day, admittedly it was an icy road but this second lot don’t have that excuse, this is pure incompetence.
Driver Insanity 2
Remember that we have to share the roads with drivers like these.
Having regard to all the hoohooraw about Module 1 I thought you might like to see the natural follow on to it, and remember that this is being done against the clock!.
Round the Cones
On You Tube I found a series of clips taking you through the new test.
Looks as though it may be from an official DSA source, but it has been made before they decided to split the test into two parts, what they are calling “Modules”.
Anyway there are 13 of these clips so here are the links to them, once each clip has finished running, just click on the “Back” button on your browser to return to this blog posting:-

An essential item of our ridng kit is our helmet,
One thing that s necessary with a helmet is that it fits you properly and I found this video on the web explaining about helmet fit:–
While it is extollng the virtues of “Aria” elmets the information applies whatever the make.
NEVER assume that car has seen you!!
Even with your lights on., ride as if you were invisible
This video is from the camera mounted in an American Police patrol car and shows their technique to stop a motorcycle.
There is no word as to our police being empowered to use this technique.
In the last effort I linked to an exhibition of low speed machine control round cones
This time it’s a similar contest but at high speed among the Japanese motorcycle Police.
Notice that even here they are taking head checks.
But the nice bit is at the end where they admit that they are not always perfect performers.
Seem to be starting to get the feel of this (Famous last words there no doubt).
In October this year our lords and masters have decreed that part of the motorcycle riding test is to involve riding round cones in an enclosed yard.
To alleviate any worries about this have a look at what CAN be done:
You can hear the bike grounding on some of the tight turns!.
